Emily Gill

Emily is a senior Orthoptist working in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. She works for the NHS as lead orthoptist at tunbridge wells hospital and privately at the Tunbridge Wells Eye Centre. She specialises in both paediatric and adult treatment of strabismus (squint), diplopia (double vision) amblyopia (reduced vision/lazy eye) and complex eye movement disorders.

Emily graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013. Her first post was at East Sussex NHS Trust where she worked as a specialist orthoptist leading the vision screening for special schools within East Sussex. She later undertook a masters module in medical retina treating patients with retinal disease with intravitreal injections. Emily now leads the NHS orthoptic service at Tunbridge Wells hospital.
